Solution

The resistor colour coding scheme prints coloured bands on the body of resistor to indicate the value of resistance.

In this scheme, each colour band position and colour will have a particular specification and significant value.

In the coloured band scheme, two-colour bands indicate the significant value of resistance, while the third colour band indicate the multiplier value. and fourth band if present indicates the tolerance of the resistor, if not present (or) indicated on the body of resistor, the tolerance of that resistor will be 20%. Resistor colour coding and their values are shown in below figure,
