- 14,400 At/Wb
- 1,440 At/Wb
- 9,000 At/Wb
- 90,000 At/Wb
Table of content
Answer: Option D. 90,000 At/Wb
There is 900 mA of current through a wire with 40 turns. 90,000 At/Wb is the reluctance of the magnetic circuit if the flux is 400 Wb.
Solution
Given,
Number of turns N=40,
Current through wire I=900 mA,
Flux, ϕ=400 μWb,
We know that,
Flux, ϕ =M.M.F/ Reluctance=N.I/R
So, the reluctance of the magnetic circuit is,
R=N.I/ ϕ
R=40×900×10-3/400×10-6
R=90,000 At/Wb
Hence, 90,000 At/Wb is the reluctance of the magnetic circuit if the flux is 400 Wb.
