Engineering Services Examination (ESE) is one of the most prestigious examinations conducted in India by UPSC. It gives an opportunity to engineers to work under the government of India and designated as Class – 1 officer in public sectors such as Indian Railways, Power, Telecommunications, Central Water engineering, Defense service of Engineers, Central Engineering Service, etc.
Due to covid this year the dates were changed but now again UPSC has scheduled the exam on the previous timings.
ESE is carried out in three stages i.e. Preliminary Examination, Mains Examination and Interview Stage. UPSC has released the important dates for ESE 2022.

Here are the Important Dates for ESE 2022 Examination which should be kept remembered by aspirants:

| Last date for Receipt of Application | 12 October, 2021 |
| Date of Examination( Stage 1)- Preliminary Examination | 20 February, 2022 |
| Date of Examination (Stage 2)- Mains Examination | 26 June, 2022 |
