CSIR NET Result 2020 Latest Updates

CSIR NET Result 2020 out! NTA has released the CSIR NET Result 2020 for Tamil Nadu and Puducherry region. Candidates can check the CSIR TN and Puducherry Result on the official website. 

CSIR NET Result 2020 Announced, Check Now

National Testing Agency has released the CSIR NET result and scorecard of the examination held on 29 December 2020. the CSIR NET Result announced is for the JOINT CSIR - UGC NET JUNE 2020 Exam which was held on 19-Nov-2020, 21-Nov-2020, 26-Nov-2020 and 30-Nov-2020. 

Candidates can check the CSIR NET result 2020 by visiting the website or by clicking on the link given below. The candidates who appeared in the CSIR NET exam can now login into the website by using their application number and date of birth and check their result. The result of CSIR NET Exam 2020 is released in the form of a scorecard. CSIR NET cutoff 2020 will also be released soon on the official website. 

CSIR NET Result 2020 Highlights

  • A total of 2,62,692 lakhs students registered for CSIR NET which is conducted in five different subjects namely, Chemical Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, Earth Sciences, Physical Sciences and Life Sciences
  • NTA has announced the CSIR NET results for examinations held on 19, 21 and 26 November 2020.
  • Candidates who have qualified CSIR NET Exam are eligible to become Assistant Professor all over Indian Universities.
  • Candidates who have qualified JRF will not only be eligible to become Assistant Professor, also they will get a scholarship if they pursue a PhD in Indian Universities.

How to Check CSIR NET Result 2020?

Candidates can check the CSIR NET result by click on the direct link given here or they can follow the steps to check UGC NET Result 2020

  • Step 1: Visit the CSIR NET Website
  • Step 2: Click on the link "JOINT CSIR UGC NET JUNE 2020 NTA score".

  • Step 3: Fill in the application number, date of birth and security code.
  • Step 4: Now, download you CSIR NET Exam result 2020.

CSIR NET Scorecard 2020

Check the below steps to download the CSIR NET Score card.

  • Candidate can check their CSIR NET scorecard after downloading the result. 
  • The scorecard contains marks and percentile for both paper-1 and Paper-2.
  • Candidate can check the final score on the mark sheet.
  • Candidate can check on the mark sheet if they have qualified only  CSIR NET or  CSIR NET-JRF.
  • It is clearly mentioned in the admit if you have qualified for Assistant Professor only or both Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship.

CSIR NET JRF Score validity 2020

  • Candidates who have qualified JRF will get the scholarship if they pursue a PhD.
  • The validity of JRF is 3 years from the date of declaration of result.
  • The validity of e-certificate for Assistant Professor is a lifetime.
  • Candidates who are already pursuing PhD then the JRF will be counted from the date of result.

CSIR NET Cut off 2020

  • Candidates can check their subject cutoff by clicking on the link given above.
  • UGC NET Cutoff is calculated by combing the marks of Paper-1 and Paper-2. 
  • NTA release the cutoff of all subjects in one PDF file only.
  • Total of 6 per cent of candidates are selected for NET and 0.5 for JRF.

CSIR NET E-Certificate

  • Candidates who qualify CSIR NET Exam will get e-certificate.
  • The certificate is issued by CSIR NET on their website after the result is declared.
  • The certificate is issued online only.
  • Candidate has to use the registration number and date of birth for downloading the certificate.
  • Qualifying candidates must download the e-certificate.
  • JRF qualifying candidates are issued another e-certificate.
