CSIR NET Application Form 2021 (to be released soon)

CSIR NET Application Form 2021 will be released soon on the official website of  NTA CSIR NET. As per the latest news, the CSIR NET 2021 Notification will be released in mid-April, therefore the CSIR NET Application is also expected in April 2021. 

Candidates will be able to apply online for the CSIR NET 2021 exam at the official website of NTA. Candidates can check the direct link for the online application of CSIR NET below along with detailed steps on how to apply online for CSIR NET exam and the application fee details for this exam. it is important that the applicants check the eligibility before applying online.

How to apply online for CSIR NET Exam?

Candidates need to follow the under mentioned steps to complete the  CSIR NET exam 2021 application form. T

  • Click on the link shared above and go to "Log in".
  • Select "Apply for CSIR NET 2021".
  • The first step of registration is to fill the application form with the relevant data. Candidates need to provide data for the following:
    Copy of University certificate/ board, ID Card, Aadhar, certificate of qualifying degree or the mark sheets of last semester, permanent as well as correspondence address, choice of test centres, Subject codes for NET as well as post-graduation, code for the master’s course, contact number, email address and scanned copies of candidate’s photograph and signature (details shared below).
  • The application number of the candidates will be generated after filling the form.
  • After filling out all the details, candidates need to proceed for online fee payment.
  • Make sure that you save a copy or take print of the confirmation page after the final submission.

(A) Instructions for Photograph upload

  • The photograph must contain the date and candidate’s name and should have been taken on or after 1st March 2019.
  • Scanned File Dimension: 10 kb to 200 kb.

(B) Instructions for Signature upload

  • Candidates need to upload their signature taken on a white sheet with blank ink. The signature should be in running hand.
  • Scanned File Dimension: 4 kb to 30 kb.


The link for correction of the signature or photograph of the candidates would be available for a few days. 

CSIR NET Application Fees

Candidates can check the application fees for the registration of CSIR NET from the table below:

How to Recover Password of CSIR UGC NET 2021 Application Form?

If you forget the password, follow the steps mentioned below to recover and reset your CSIR NET password.

Step 1 – Open the NTA CSIR NET official website.

Step 2 – Next, click the CSIR NET Apply Online button.

Step 3 – In “Only Registered Candidates Sign In”option, click on the link “Forgot Password?”

Step 4 – After that, a window will open with three options. Choose any one option from them –

  • Using the security question and its answer you chose while filling up the form.
  • Using a Verification code sent via text message (SMS) to your Registered Mobile No.
  • Using a reset link sent via Email to your registered email address.

Step 5 – Click the “Continue” button and reset your password.
