LIC AE AAO Specialist 2020-2021 exam date announced. Earlier issued a notice regarding the postponement of the Prelims Exam for LIC AE/AA/AAO (Specialist) Exam 2020. The exam was supposed to be held on 4th April 2020 but has been postponed due to a pandemic. As per the latest notice, the LIC AE AAO Specialist 2020-21 exam took place on 28th August 2021.

Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has released a LIC AE and AAO recruitment notification for the post of Assistant Engineers (A.E) - Civil/ Electrical /Structural /MEP & Assistant Architect (A.A) and Assistant Administrative Officer (AAO) Specialist. There are a total of 218 vacancies out of which 50 are for AE and 168 are for Specialists. Candidates had to apply for the mentioned posts.

Your educational qualifications mentioned should be from a University/Institute/ Board recognized by Govt. of India / approved by the Government Regulatory Bodies and the result should have been declared on or before 01.02.2020. The date of passing the exam will be the date of passing appearing on the mark sheet / provisional certificate.
The salary details for the LIC AAO AE Specialist posts have been provided below. You will receive a monthly salary as well as other benefits as stated by LIC.
The candidates who will be selected for the post of Assistant Administrative Officers (Chartered Accountant) with two years post qualification work experience on the date of eligibility will be eligible for two advance increments.
The following perks will be given to the candidates who will be appointed as LIC Assistant Engineers and Specialist Officers.
Once you have been appointed as a LIC AAO and AE you will be required to serve a probation period for a period of one year from the date of joining. This period may be extended up to two years. If you resign from your post during the probation period you will be required to pay liquidated damages as stated below.
You will be required to give the undertaking to serve LIC for a minimum period of four years from the date of joining (including the probationary period) failing which, you will be liable to pay liquidated damages of Rs.5,00,000/-only (Rupees Five Lakhs only) + GST or the sum of amount the Executive Director (Personnel) may prescribe from time to time.
Apart from this, GST or any other tax payable shall also be borne by you. You will have to submit Deed of Indemnity and surety at his cost, duly stamped and notarized, the stamp value of which will be as applicable to the State in which the deed is executed by you.
The selection process for LIC AAO and AE is a three-stage process that is mentioned below:
The LIC Prelims and Mains Exam will have an English Language section which will be qualifying in nature in both the stages of the exam.
The LIC Prelims Exam is qualifying in nature and the final appointment will be made on the basis of the marks obtained by you in the Mains and Interview. The minimum marks to be obtained in each Section and cut off marks for each section and in the aggregate shall be decided by LIC.
