History and Its Types
History, as we all know, is the study of the events that took place in the past specifically related to human affairs. It makes us aware of the politics, economy, society, traditions and customs that were followed in the past.
There are six types of history that are: a political, diplomatic, cultural, intellectual, social and economic history.
Political history talks about the politics and government policies adopted in the past. It is related to the past analysis of political activities, leaders, government-related activities, and other prevalent ideas and beliefs.
Diplomatic history was more related to the study of international relations between nations/states. Whereas, Cultural history was influenced by the culture and traditions of the past.
Social history was the observations related to the experiences lived in the past.
Intellectual history was the study of the intellectual, cultural and social contexts in history. Economic history talks about the various economic policies in the past.
