The MDR Full form is Multiple Drug Resistant. When certain microorganisms, including bacteria, viruses, and fungi, are resistant to treatment with one or more anti-microbial drugs, this condition is referred to as “multiple drug resistance.” These anti-microbial medications are also referred to as antimicrobial agents.
