Bangalore is home to 13 separate ISRO centers. Liquid Propulsion Systems Centre (LPSC), U R Rao Satellite Centre (URSC), and others are among the most well-known facilities. ISRO Centre in Bangalore

The Indian Space Research Organization’s center for designing, developing, and constructing Indian satellites is the U R Rao Satellite Centre(URSC), formerly known as the ISRO Satellite Centre (ISAC).

It was established in Peenya Industrial Estates, Bengaluru, in 1972 as the Indian Scientific Satellite Project (ISSP). Effective April 2, 2018, ISAC has renamed the U. R. Rao Satellite Center (URSC) in honor of Dr. Udupi Ramachandra Rao, former chairman of the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) and founder director of ISAC.

URSC is organized using a matrix management structure, like other ISRO centers.
Numerous functional areas, such as the control and mission area, electronic systems area, mechanical systems area, reliability, and components area, etc., are divided into the center.
Each region further divides into groups.
For instance, the Flight Dynamics Group and the Control Systems Group are just two of the many groups found in the Control and Mission section.
Once more, divisions are made within the Groups.
For instance, the Control Systems Group has several subgroups, such as control dynamics, control electronics, and analysis.
In addition, there are other independent facilities (like Thermovac, etc.) and projects (like IRS, INSAT, SATNAV, etc.) as well as the Division of Space Astronomy and Instrumentation, the Project Planning and Evaluation Group, the Computer and Information Group, and others.
