The direct link to download the PPSC Prelims Cutoff 2020 and PPSC Result Prelims 2020 is mentioned below. Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) conducted the Prelims of Combined Competitive Examination 2021 on 13 February 2021. 

The Preliminary exam of PPSC CCE 2021 is conducted in two shifts of 2-hour duration each. The PPSC CCE Prelims question paper consists of 100 objective type single choice questions in Paper-1 and 80 questions in Paper-2 each for 200 marks. There is no negative marking for the wrong responses.

While deciding the cut-off the following factors have to be taken into account for any exam which are:

1. Number of Post/ PPSC vacancy
2. No. of students appeared
3. Level of the question paper

PPSC in its official notification has mentioned the following types of Cut-off for PPSC CCE 2021 Examination:

1. Qualifying Cut-off
2. Category-wise Cut-off
3. Overall Cut-off

PPSC Qualifying Cut-off

According to the official notification, the cut-off of PPSC CCE 2021 Preliminary exam will be decided on the basis that the number of candidates to be selected for PPSC CCE Mains Examination will be 13 times the vacancies released which is 77. 

For the Mains Examination, a number of candidates, not more than 3 times the vacancies will be selected for the Interview.

PPSC Cutoff Stages 

The PPSC will announce the PPSC cutoff separately for Prelims, Mains Exam and then Final cutoff which will include the interview marks as well.

PPSC Cut Off for Preliminary CCE Exam: Candidates who clear the PPSC CCE Prelims cutoff will be eligible to write the Mains Exam. The PPSC Prelims Result contains the list of candidates who clear the PPSC cutoff for Prelims exam. The PPSC preliminary exam cut off will be calculated based on the marks scored by the applicants out of a total of 400 marks(200 marks for each Paper)

PPSC Cut Off for Mains Exam:  PPSC 2021 cut off of mains exam will be calculated out of 1350 marks. Candidates who clear the Mains cutoff will be called for the next and final round: Personal Interview. 

PPSC Final Cut Off: This is the final PPSC cutoff. A list of selected candidates is published who clear the final cutoff which is calculated as per Mains & Interview Marks. The Interview is allotted 150 Marks in PPSC and the final cut-off will be calculated out of 1500 marks.
