MPPSC Syllabus 2023 is notified by the exam organizing body, which is the Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) for State Services Examination (SSE). Candidates appearing for the MPPSC exam must have a clear knowledge of its syllabus and exam pattern to plan their preparation for the state's most prestigious exams. The MPPSC syllabus is segregated into three major sections, Prelims, Mains and Interview. MPPSC Prelims syllabus has two papers, General Studies and General Aptitude. On the other hand, the Mains syllabus has a total of 6 papers. MPPSC Syllabus 2023

MPPSC Syllabus has two major stages that are a part of the selection criteria, Prelims and Mains. An interview is also conducted for those who qualify for the Mains exam. MPPSC Syllabus for Prelims

MPPSC Prelims paper is the first stage of the MPPSC selection process. The syllabus for MPPSC Pre consists of two papers- Paper-1 and Paper-2. Paper 1 is general studies in which questions from subjects such as history, political science, geography, economics and other subjects are asked. MPPSC Syllabus for Paper 2

MPPSC Prelims syllabus for Paper 2 shall be the General Aptitude Test, where the candidates are expected to know basic logical reasoning, mental ability, elementary mathematics, etc. The following topics are included in the syllabus of General Aptitude.

MPPSC Mains syllabus is descriptive and vast. It has 6 papers in total. Out of the total papers, 4 papers are General Studies papers. MPPSC Syllabus for Hindi Essay - Paper 6

The final paper for MPPSC Syllabus is the Hindi Paper, Paper 6 of the Mains exam. The candidates must write 3 essays in Hindi on burning issues such as Environment, Science, Education, E-Commerce, E-Marketing, etc. The total mark for this paper is 100 marks, where the marks are segregated for the three essays the candidates will be writing.

MPPSC Syllabus - Interview

The MPPSC interview is the last stage of the MPPSC syllabus. The candidates who obtain the required MPPSC cutoff will be asked to appear for the interview/personality test. Every candidate who qualifies for the Mains must appear for the Interview, as the merit list shall be decided on the marks obtained by the candidate in Mains and Interview.

The MPPSC SSE interview aims to test whether the candidate is responsible for carrying out a PCS officer's duties. A candidate's mental ability and behaviours shall be tested through it.
