As per the official notification of MP Line Attendant and Office Assistant (Grade III) below are the important dates for MPWZ recruitment 2018:

The total number of vacancies released under the post office Assistant is 300 and for Line Attendant is 361. Below are category-wise details of MP Vacancies 2018 for both the posts:

MPWZ Office Assistant Vacancies

* Minimum Experience of 4 years or more on Contract as Office Assistant or equivalent in any of the successor Company of MPSEB.

MPWZ Line Attendant Vacancies

*Horizontally reserved post for the personnel employed in the post of line attendant (contract) in the succeeding companies of the preceding Madhya Pradesh West Zone Power Distribution Company Limited, 04 years or more.

Age limit:

The minimum age of the candidate should be 18 years and maximum age limit for different category shall be as under as on 1st January 2018: -

Educational Qualification

Office Assistant

• The minimum qualification required for the post is that the candidate should be 12th pass.
• In addition to above, the Candidate must possess a certificate of passing a computer examination from a recognized university.
• Valid and qualified CPCT Score Card- Candidate should be qualified in all three subjects i.e. Computer Proficiency, English Typing and Hindi Typing. It must be noted that only one scorecard shall be accepted for being qualified in all three subjects.

Line Attendant

• The minimum qualification required for the post is that the candidate should be 10th pass.
• Also, the candidate should have ITI Certificate in Electrician or Lineman or Wireman Trade.

The selection process of the candidates for the post of Line Attendant and Office Assistant (Grade III) will be based on the following stages:

• Online Written Test
• Physical Test (Only for Line Attendant)

Probation Period under Office Assistant

The candidate shall be appointed in regular cadre after the successful completion of the training period and will be on probation for a period of two years, during which his/her performance shall be monitored.

Line Attendant

Note applicable for both Line Attendant and Office Assistant: -

• The online written test will consist of 100 objective type questions carrying 3 marks each.
• The cutoff marks for the Online test will be 40% for UR and 30% for SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy layer)/PWD.
• There will be no negative marking.

The online applications will be received only through the official website. Candidates are required to attest the scanned copies of the following documents:

(i) Marksheet of class 10th/12th.
(ii) Computer Passing Certificate.
(iii) Applicant serving in successor companies of MPSEB should submit work experience.
(iv) Caste certificate.
(v) MP Domicile certificate for all candidates.
(vi) Medical Certificate of disability (40% or above) issued by District Medical Board in case of PWD candidate.
(vii) Qualified and valid CPCT Score Card.
(viii) Ex-Servicemen Certificate (if applicable).

Line Attendant/Office Assistant Application Fee

MPWZ has released the cut off for the post of MPPKVVCL line attendant recruitment 2018, which is as follows:

The pay scale of the selected applicants as an Assistant Officer will receive an initial pay of Rs. 19500/- as per the GoMP Energy Department letter dt 05.04.2018.

The Line Attendant will receive a pay scale of 19500-62000 as per the GoMP Energy Department letter dt 05.04.2018.

The MPPKVVCL Line Attendant 2018 Admit Card has been released.
