AILET 2021 Analysis | Exam Review

The All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) 2021 for undergraduates was conducted across the country on 30th July 2021 from 02:00 PM to 03.30 PM. The exam was administered by National Testing Agency (NTA) on behalf of the National Law University (NLU) Delhi. AILET 2021 will be held on offline, pen & paper mode.

AILET 2021 Paper Analysis: Difficulty Level

AILET 2021 Marking Scheme
  • +1 mark is assigned to each correct answer.
  • -0.25 is applicable for each wrong answer.

English:

  • Most of the questions asked are usually vocabulary based.
  • There are questions from parts of speech and grammar. 
  • The Reading Comprehension questions might take time to solve if complex RC passages are asked. 
  • You can also expect questions from sentence correction & Odd one out

General Knowledge:

  • This section can prove to be scoring as the questions asked are very direct. 
  • Static GK is asked along with Current Affairs

Legal Aptitude:

  • This section includes both reasoning based and general knowledge questions. There is normally a 50:50 split in the number of questions asked about legal knowledge and legal reasoning.
  • One of the best way to ace this section is accuracy 
  • You can also expect Principle-Fact based questions which are usually lengthy.

Logical Reasoning:

  • This section generally includes questions from Circular Arrangement, Short Passages (Critical Reasoning), Blood Relations and more. 
  • Questions in the section of Logical Reasoning included problems on LR and few problems on CR were asked.
  • Also, expect questions from on-premise and conclusion, deductive logic and conditionals.

Mathematics:

  • Only 10 questions are asked from this section
  • The topic includes

AILET Exam Analysis 2020
