CLAT Analysis 2024 was conducted by BYJU’S Exam Prep experts on 3rd Decemebr 2023. As per the CLAT 2024 Analysis by BYJU’S Exam Prep Experts, the overall difficulty level was Easy-Moderate. The Current affairs and GK section was a complete surprise as it consisted of RC passages and in one of the passages the student can answer the questions by merely looking at the passage. The exam was conducted successfully across 139 test centers across the country. Candidates must check the CLAT Analysis 2024 to review the paper pattern, difficulty level, section-wise questions asked and the expected cut-offs. As per the CLAT 2024 Analysis, the number of questions was reduced from 150 last year to 120 this year.

CLAT 2024 Analysis – Highlights

- There were a total of 120 questions
- The paper consisted of 5 sections -English Language, Current Affairs, including General Knowledge, Logical Reasoning, Legal Reasoning, and Quantitative Techniques
- English section was Easy and was similar to last year
CLAT 2024 Question Paper Pattern
This year, the number of questions was reduced from 150 to 120. There were 5 sections in CLAT 2024. As per CLAT 2024 Analysis, a total of 120 questions were to be answered in 120 minutes. The questions are all MCQs and not descriptive type. The CLAT 2024 exam pattern is given below:

As per CLAT 2024 Exam Analysis, the overall difficulty level of the English section was Easy. The section was similar to last year’s paper. English was Easy except for a couple of questions. The difficulty level and the genre of the passages are given below

The Logical Reasoning consisted of 24 questions and the level of difficulty was Moderate. The Passages were difficult to read. 4 out of 6 questions in each CR passage was easy. 3 questions had close options.

Note:
*The expected cut off is given basis the factors:
- Number of questions are 120 instead of 150 (expected to reduce the cut-offs by 5 marks for top 3 NLUs and almost 7-8 marks at for atleast 1 NLU)
- Cut-off is increases by 10-13 marks (Quant 2-3 marks, English 2-3 marks, GK 6-7 marks, Legal -3,-4) marks since the LOD was on the easier side.
