SBI Circle Based Officer salary 2022-23 will be based on Junior Management Grade Scale 1. The pay scale will be Rs.36000-1490/7-46430-1740/2-49910-1990/7-63840. This implies the SBI Circle Officer will be paid a base salary of Rs 36,000 with an annual increment of Rs 1490 for the following seven years, then a basic salary of Rs 46,430 with an annual increment of Rs 1740 for the next two years, and so on. Rs 63,840 will be the maximum basic wage.
However, the maximum advance increment has been capped at 2 (two), irrespective of the duration of experience gained in previous employment. SBI CBO salary package also consists of various components such as D.A, H.R.A/ Lease rental, C.C.A, Medical, and other allowances & perquisites as per rules forced from time to time.
SBI CBO is a Circle Based Officer who will be posted in the chosen circle or state. The selected candidates have to go through a probation period of 6 months. The Circle Based Officer will be subjected to continuous assessment during the probation period to judge their suitability for confirmation. After the probation period, all the suitable candidates are posted as permanent officers of SBI.
The SBI CBO selection process 2022 includes three different stages which are as follows: -
The candidates will have to qualify both in online written test and Interview separately. The marks obtained in the online written test, both in the objective test and the descriptive test, will be added to the marks obtained in the Interview for preparing the final merit list.
The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of normalization of marks scored in the Online Written Test and Interview with a ratio of 75:25 weightage respectively. Marks secured by the candidates in the Online Written Test (out of 120 marks) are converted to out of 75 marks and Interview scores of candidates (out of 50 marks) are converted to out of 25 marks.
The final merit list (State-wise and category-wise) is arrived at after aggregating (out of 100) converted marks of the Online Written Test and Interview. Selection will be made from the top ranked candidates in the merit list prepared State wise and Category wise. Moreover, the Bank reserves all the rights to change the shortlisting parameters and will notify them later.
SBI CBO exam pattern for the online objective test has been defined below. Candidates must know the number of questions asked from each section along with the marking scheme and time allotment. Candidates are providedwith 30 minutes for the Descriptive Test. It will be a Test of English Language (Letter Writing & Essay) with two questions for a total of 50 Merit list will be drawn State wise and Category wise on the basis of the aggregate marks scored in Online Written Test. There will be no sectional qualifying marks.
Candidates numbering up to 3 times (approx.) of the State wise and Category wise vacancies will be shortlisted for Screening from the top of the merit list drawn on State wise and Category wise subject to a candidate scoring the minimum aggregate qualifying score, as decided by the Bank.
SBI CBO Interview will carry a total of 50 marks. Candidates will have to score minimum qualifying marks in the CBO interview to be considered for final selection. The minimum qualifying marks will be decided by the bank officials.
Candidates qualifying for the SBI CBO interview under the 'OBC' category would be required to submit an OBC certificate containing the Non-Creamy layer clause. Candidates who have registered themselves as OBC but do not submit OBC 'Non-Creamy layer' certificate and request for the interview under the General category will not be entertained.
Candidates qualifying for the SBI CBO interview under the EWS category would be required to submit an EWS certificate. Candidates who have registered themselves as EWS but do not submit EWS certificate and request for an interview under the General category will not be entertained.
