Pashupati was the chief male deity of the people of the Indus Valley Civilization. Clay seals have been found depicting the deity Shiva Pashupati. His image is shown in the form of three faces, two horns, sitting on the low throne and surrounded by a rhino, tiger, elephant, and two deers near his feet. Lord Pashupati was also known as the Lord of Animals.
