The Thousand Pillar Temple consists of three presiding deities, Lord Shiva, Vishnu, and the Sun God, Trikutalayam. The Thousand Pillar Temple is a historic Hindu temple in Hanamkonda, Telangana state, India. It was built between 1175-1324 AD. It is one of the finest and earliest available examples of Kakatiya architecture, art, and sculpture.

The Rudreswara Swamy Temple was created by Rudra Deva, and Rudreswara serves as its presiding deity. The temple was rebuilt in 1163 and is now home to three shrines in the later Chalukyan and early Kakatiya star-shaped architectural style.
Lord Vishnu, Lord Shiva, and the Sun God, Surya, all have respective shrines. Trikootalayam is the collective name for these three shrines. The temple is decorated with 1,000 elaborately carved pillars that are built in the shape of a star.
