The entire Indian southern peninsula south of the Narmada River is referred to as the Deccan Plateau. It is a tall triangular plateau that is bordered to the west and east by the Satpura and Vindhya Ranges, which meet at the plateau’s southernmost point, and to the north by the Western Ghats. Lastly, the Deccan plateau holds a lot of ecological and geographical value for the country.
