The satellite launching station is located at Sriharikota (Andhra Pradesh). The satellite launching station is named Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC) or Sriharikota Range (SHAR). The Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC) is the rocket launch centre operated by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). It is one of the leading space centres under ISRO.
