OAVS Exam Pattern 2020-21 for the Post of Principal

The OAVS Exam Pattern for Principal will consist of four parts as follows:

Language Proficiency Test,
General Awareness and Computer Literacy,
Academic, and
Administration and Finance ||

Important Key Points:

The test will be conducted in online mode only.
The Online Question Paper will be bilingual i.e., English & Odia Languages Only.
All the questions will be multiple choice objective questions.
The duration of the OAVS CBT will be 3 Hours.
The OAVS Online Test will be of 180 Marks comprising 180 questions.
The candidate is required to mark only one answer out of four options.
There will be 0.25 marks negative marking for each wrong answer.

OAVS Exam Pattern for PGT, TGT, PET, and Computer Teacher

The online test will consist of Part-I, II and III.
The online test will be conducted in English and Odia only.
All the questions will be Multiple Choice Questions.
The test will be of 200 marks for a total duration of 3 Hours 20 Minutes.
Each question will carry 1 mark.
There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.

Final Selection Process For OAVS Teacher & Principal Recruitment 2020-21

The final selection criteria are different for each of the posts. The final selection criteria for each of the posts are mentioned below:

For the post of Principal: The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in Parts II, III, IV & interview (40+30+70+60=200). For the preparation of the final merit, the weighted evaluation scheme will be an examination (Parts II, III & IV) and interview: 70% and 30%.
For TGT: The weighted evaluation scheme shall be tested 70 % (Parts II, III), and Interview 30%.

For PGT: The weighted evaluation scheme shall be tested 70%(Parts II, III), and Interview 30%

For Physical Education Teacher (PET): The weighted evaluation scheme shall be tested 70% (Parts-II & III) and Interview 30%

For Computer Teacher: A performance test of 20 marks will be conducted separately. The weighted evaluation scheme shall be tested 50% (Parts II & III), Performance Test 20% and Interview 30%.

OAVS Teacher Interview 2020-21

Once you have secured the qualifying marks in the OAVS 2020-21 Written Test you will be called to appear for the Interview. The Interview marks are different for each of the OAVS Posts as mentioned below:

What will be the total marks of the OAVS Online test?
Ans. The OAVS Computer-based test will be of 180 marks for the post of Principal while 200 marks for TGT, PGT, Computer Teacher and Physical Teacher Recruitment 2020-21.
