How to Apply Online for HTET 2021 Exam

HTET 2021 Online Application Form: The last date to fill the HTET Application Form 2021 has been extended. You can apply online for HTET 2020 till 3rd December 2021 (extended). Candidates will be required to register themselves online through the official website http://www.haryanatet.in/.

Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility criteria for all levels of HTET are different. Level I is for Primary Teacher (Level 1 - Class 1 to 5): 12th pass along with Diploma in Elementary Education (D.EI.Ed), Level-II is for Trained Graduate Teacher (Level 2 - Class 6 to 8): Bachelor’s Degree along with B.Ed and Level- III is for Post Graduate Teacher (Level 3 – Above Class 8): Master’s Degree along with B.Ed

HTET Eligibility Criteria: Level- I, Classes I-V (Primary Level) (Primary Teacher)

  • Senior Secondary (or it's equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)  in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2007.  OR
  • Senior Secondary (or it's equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002. OR
  • Senior Secondary (or it's equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). OR
  • Senior Secondary (or it's equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education) OR
  • “Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed)”
  • Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit or Senior Secondary/Graduation/Post Graduation with Hindi.

HTET Eligibility Criteria: Level- II, Classes VI-VII (Upper Primary Level)(Trained Graduate Teacher)

TGTs teaches classes 6th to 8th and include various subject mentioned below:

1. Social Studies- History, Economics, Political Science, Geography, Sociology and Psychology.
2. Science
3. Mathematics
4. English
5. Hindi
6. Sanskrit
7. Punjabi
8. Urdu
9. Physical Education
10. Home Science
11. Art
12. Music

  • Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) OR
  • Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed). OR
  • Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1- year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard. OR
  • Senior Secondary (or it's equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) OR
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year B.A/ B. Sc. Ed or B.A.Ed/ B. Sc. Ed. OR
  • Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education)*

HTET Eligibility Criteria: Level- III, (Post Graduate Teacher)

PGTs teaches classes 9th to 12th and they are subject-specific teachers and includes various subject mentioned below:

1.English

4.Home Science
5.Sociology
6.Urdu
7.History
8.Punjabi
9. Psychology
10.Political Science
11.Sanskrit
12.Biology
13.Physics
14. Chemistry
15.Mathematics

  • Post Graduate Degree in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks from recognized university and Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) from a recognized university,
  • Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit or Sr Secondary/Graduation/Post Graduation with Hindi.

HTET Age Limit

  • HTET Maximum Age Limit: 38 Years

  • HTET Minimum Age Limit: 18 years

You need to fulfil any one of the above-mentioned HTET eligibility criteria in order to apply for the exam.

HTET Reservation Criteria

HTET exam is of 150 marks for all the three levels- PRT, TGT & PGT.

The Validity Period of the HTET qualifying certificate for appointment will be seven years from the date of declaration of its result for all categories.
