Bihar B.ed 2021 Counselling Procedure

The counselling procedure begins just after the result of Bihar B.Ed. CET result is announced. Candidates on the basis of the marks obtained got rank and on the basis of ranks, candidates are allocated college. Counselling procedure involves the following steps to be followed:-

1. Checking Entrance Result:- It is the most important step, candidates need to check their entrance result curiously as it is the only deciding factor to obtain college, as half of the battle is already won on the basis of the result. Candidates will be roughly able to draw an idea of which college they will be eligible to apply to.

2. Choice Filling:- After the entrance result is announced counselling window will be opened and candidates will be able to fill colleges of their choice. It is necessary to note that it is essential that candidates got the college of their choice.

3. Fees Payment:- Once the counselling window is open, candidates need to fill the colleges of their choice and pay the counselling fees there and then in order to participate in the counselling process. The payment of fees ensures to reserve one seat as counselling is held in phases(rounds). In phases, candidates are called to participate in the counselling process according to the ranks obtained by the candidates.

4. Seat Availability:– It is advisable for the candidates to keep an eye on the seats available in the colleges in which they wish to enrol themselves.

5. Participation in the Counselling Process:- On the day of the counselling, candidates can participate in the counselling process and obtain the college of their choices. After obtaining a seat candidates need to fill the admission fees there and then reserve the seat. It is important to note that if the candidates are not satisfied with the college they obtained in the first round of counselling, they can participate in the second round of counselling as well as but they need to pay extra fees to participate in the second round of counselling.

6. Final College Allotment:- Candidates gets the college in which they will be studying in the upcoming duration and they need to report on a particular date on which they got admission. Afterwards, candidates need to pay college fees also that is apart from university fees.
