TNPSC Group 4 Exam Pattern for the written exam is divided into two parts, A and B. Candidates must note that the Group 4 exam pattern is released for one exam which is the basis on which they will be selected for document verification.   • TNPSC Group 4 exam is objective-type in nature and will be held in offline mode.
  • The written exam is divided into Part A and Part B. Part A is Tamil Eligibility Test and Part B is General Studies and Aptitude & Mental Ability Test.
  • Part A will be according to the SSLC standard and Part B will be designed according to Degree level.
  • Only candidates who score a minimum of 40% in Part A will be evaluated for Part B.
  • Both parts will have 100 questions each carrying 150 marks. TNPSC Group 4 total marks are 300.
  • Part B marks are divided as - General Studies carries 75 marks and Aptitude & Mental Ability has a weightage of 25 marks.
  • Part A will be in the Tamil language whereas Part B will have questions in both Tamil and English.
