APPSC Group 1 2022 Notification is expected to be released by the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) on its website. Candidates who have a graduation degree in any discipline will be able to apply for the exam through the official website. APPSC Group 1 exam is the civil service exam held annually by the state. The candidates who qualify for the exam are appointed to Deputy Collector, Deputy Collector, Deputy Superintendent of Police (Cat -2), and other distinguished posts.

How to apply online for the APPSC Group 1 2022?

Follow the steps mentioned below on how to apply online for APPSC Group 1 application form.

  • Go to the official website of APPSC.
  • A direct link to the ‘Registration Form’ will display.
  • After the registration, you will get an Application Number. 
  • Then, log in to APPSC Group 1 using the assigned details to proceed with the application process.
  • Upload scanned copies of your passport size photograph’ and ‘signature’ in the prescribed file size, dimensions, and file format (preferably JPG/JPEG format).
  • In the payment gateway, pay the requisite application fee online or offline mode.
  • After a successful payment, you will receive a confirmation message to your registered email address and mobile number.
  • Take out at least 2-3 printouts of the confirmation page and keep it safe for future reference.

The candidates who qualify for APPSC Group 1 prelims and mains exam shall be called to appear for the physical efficiency test. APPSC Group 1 Selection Process

The candidates willing to work in APPSC Group 1 posts shall undergo the APPSC Group 1 selection process, which is based on the following three stages: 

Screening Test: This objective-type based question paper includes topics such as general awareness and mental ability. This exam is for 140 marks.

Mains Exam: The main exam include a written exam with 5 papers for 750 marks. Each paper tests the ability and knowledge of the candidates.

  •  APPSC Group 1  is a state-level exam conducted by the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission every year to recruit Group 1 officers for various posts such as Deputy Collector, Assistant Commissioner, and Deputy Superintendent of Police through competitive exams. APPSC Group 2 selection is made through prelims and the mains exam.

  •  APPSC Group 1 syllabus has not been released by Andhra Pradesh public Service Commission yet. As per last year's syllabus of  APPSC Group 1 is divided into prelims and mains. In  APPSC Group 1 prelims, there are two papers, whereas the main exam includes seven papers.   

  • APPSC decides  APPSC Group 1 eligibility which is specified in the notification. Aspirants must fulfill the age limit, qualification, and nationality to grab the various posts of Group 3 officers. Candidates must also note that each post has different educational qualifications and age limits.

  • To apply online for APPSC Group 1 you would be required to visit the official website of APPSC. 

    • Click on the registration tab that appears on the homepage of the official website. 
    • Register yourself and then complete the application form. 
    • Upload all the documents as per guidelines. 
    • Pay the application fee and take a printout of  APPSC Group 1application form.
  • The commission has not yet declared the vacancy for APPSC Group 1. It will announce when APPSC Group 1 notification will release on the official website. But according to the last notification, the total number APPSC Group 1 vacancies is 110, and these vacancies are distributed as per various zones and categories in preparation.

  • APPSC Group 1 admit card will release before 2-3 weeks of the exam. Once the admit card is released, the candidates need to download the call letter from APPSC official website to appear for the exam. They must check that all the details mentioned inAPPSC Group 1 admit card are correct or not.

  • APPSC releases the APPSC Group 1 on its website. APPSC Group result is released in two different stages, i.e., firstly, for the prelims exam and then for an mains, which is also a final merit list.
