FSSAI Selection Process 2021
Food Safety and Standard Authority of India has released the notification of the recruitment process for various posts. Interested candidates who wish to apply can visit the official website and start their application process. Any candidates who are interested in applying for the FSSAI recruitment process must know the FSSAI selection Process 2021 for any post according to which they can prepare in order to get selected.
Here we will be discussing the selection process of FSSAI and other important details related to the examination. FSSAI will conduct the recruitment process for various 254 vacancies. FSSAI 2021 selection process will include 2 Computer-Based Tests which will sort out the selected candidates for the interview after which the final selection will be made on a merit basis through the performance of the candidates in the examination.

FSSAI 2021 Selection Process: Shortlisting of the candidates
Candidates who appear in CBT will be shortlisted for the further selection process on the basis of their performance in the CBT. Candidates according to the next stage of the selection process are shortlisted on different criteria which are listed below:
- Shortlisting for CBT (Stage 2): Candidates for CBT (Stage II) will be shortlisted in the ratio of 1:20 (20 people per post).
- Shortlisting for Interview: For the interview process, candidates will be shortlisted in the ratio of 1:5 (5 people per post).
- Shortlisting for the Typing Test: For proficiency and typing test candidates will be shortlisted in the ratio of 1:10.
Final Selection: Final selection of the candidates will be done through a merit list which is based on the performance of the candidates in different stages of the selection process. The weightage of the final merit list will be different for each post and is given below:

The typing and proficiency test is the screening test to shortlist the eligible candidates for the post of Personal Assistant. In case there is a tie in the marks of two candidates, the one preferable degree will be given preference. In case there is still tia e then the older candidate will be selected. In case there is a further tie then the selection will be done in alphabetical order which means whichever candidate’s name comes first alphabetically will be selected.
Reservation
A limited number of seats are reserved for the candidate with physical disabilities. Candidates with any of the below-mentioned disabilities will be considered for selection:
- Visually Handicapped
- Hearing Impaired
- Orthopedically Handicapped
- Autism
- Intellectual Disability
- Specific Learning disability
- Mental Illness
- Multiple Disability
Relaxations
Candidates belonging to different categories apart from the general category will be given age relaxation according to their categories listed below:
