Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission, APPSC will be releasing the recruitment notification 2021 for the post of APPSC Gram Panchayat 2021.  APPSC will release the notification for Panchayat Secretary in Andhra Pradesh in Grade IV, Group III services. 2. Educational Qualification

The selection procedure for APPSC Panchayat Secretary comprises of the following stages of examinations:

1. Online CBT

An online written test comprising of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) will be conducted to eliminate candidates in the first round. This will be the screening round.

2. APPSC Panchayat Secretary Mains Exam

The shortlisted candidates from stage I exam will be called to appear for the Mains exam. It is compulsory to take the Mains exam otherwise your candidature will be disqualified.  This round further holds importance for the selection procedure since marks of the mains will be used to declare the merit list.

APPSC Prelims Exam Pattern

The Prelims round will comprise of two parts: part A and part B

• There are a total of 75 questions in each part.
• Each question is of 1 mark.
• The maximum marks in each part is 75 marks making a total of 150 marks question paper.
• A negative marking of 1/3 will be made for an incorrect response by you.

• There are a total of 75 questions in each part.

1. History & Culture of India with a specific focus on AP.
2. Indian polity and governance: constitutional issues, 73/74th Amendments, public
policy, reforms ad center-state relations with specific reference to Andhra Pradesh.
3. Economy and Planning in India with emphasis on Andhra Pradesh.
4. Society, Social justice, rights issues.
5. Physical geography of Indian sub-continent and Andhra Pradesh.
6. Bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh and it's Administrative, Economic, Social, Cultural,
Political and legal implications/problems.
7. Key welfare & development schemes of Government of Andhra Pradesh.
8. Women empowerment and economic development through self-help grounds/community-based organizations with a focus on weaker sections.
