NABARD Exam Pattern for Grade A Officers:

The exam pattern for the selection of NABARD Grade A officers is consist of three tiers, they are:

  1. Preliminary Exam
  2. Mains Exam 
  3. Interview

Phase II, i.e, the mains exam is scheduled to be held in the first week of the upcoming September. This is an objective and descriptive type online test. Now, Let’s understand the NABARD Grade A Exam Pattern for Mains Exam which consists of the NABARD Grade A Officer Mains Exam Pattern:

  1. Paper I – Common for all posts
  2. Paper II – Different for all posts

Detailed Exam Pattern:

Given below is the detailed exam pattern of the NABARD Grade A officer exam.

Paper II Economic and Social Issues, Agriculture & Rural Development Objective 30 50 30 minutes
  Descriptive Type 6 questions will be asked, of which candidates will be required to attempt 4 questions [2 of 15 marks each (with difficulty level) and 2 of 10 marks each] 50 90 Minutes


  1. Candidates who score minimum cut-off marks or above in the Main Examination will be shortlisted for an interview.
  2. In mains, there is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer marked. 

Interview Round for NABARD Grade A Officer:

  • Candidates who qualified for the mains round of the recruitment exam will be invited for the Personal Interview round.
  • It is the final round of the NABARD Grade A officer recruitment.
  • The weightage of the Interview will be 25 Marks.
  • The final list of the selected candidates for the NARBARD Grade A appointment will be based on the combined scores of Mains and Interviews.
