Placements Process of Indian Institute of Management Indore

IIM Indore Placements follows a specific placement process to help top recruiters hire the most eligible students for the offered jobs. Here is how the placement process of this institute was conducted.

Step 1- Shortlisting Employer

As a standard procedure, the candidate must indicate three to five employers of choice. Employers are ranked in order of preference. If a candidate gets hired by the employer marked as number 1, they will not get an opportunity to sit for the other placement interviews.

Step 2: Inviting companies

The placement committee will begin to contact various companies in the placement process for hiring students. If they say yes, then they will be asked to share hiring numbers and skill requirements through Pre Placement Talks.

Step 3: Pre-Placement Talks

At the final placement process, companies are divided into different cohorts depending on which sector they belong to, according to which IIM Indore Placement Process is carried out. Students will attend different sessions of corporate presentations where the vision of a company, roles and responsibilities of a job and job profile are explained.

Step 4: Aptitude Test and Interview

The institute sets up an internal aptitude test mechanism, the results of which are shared with employers. Candidates selected in the aptitude tests are required to sit for the Interview rounds.

Step 5: Interviews and Group Discussions

Based on academic qualifications and resume and aptitude test results, candidates shall be selected for interviews and group discussions. While the first round of interviews concludes quickly, a candidate will have to face two more rounds. A group discussion round is followed by a last personal interview with the reporting manager and HR head.

Step 6: Selection and acceptance letter

If the company selects a candidate, they will be sent an employment letter. If they accept the offer (the job role and compensation), they will not be allowed to sit for any more interviews.

IIM Indore Fee Structure

According to the Indian Institute of Management Fee Structure, candidates have to pay caution deposit, mess deposit and medical insurance premium over and above the IIM Indore MBA Fees for most of its postgraduate courses and IPM programme. For EPGP and PGPMX Mumbai, candidates must pay a sum of Rs. 1 Lakh as commitment fees at the time of acceptance of the provisional admission offer. For EFPMG and EFPM, candidates must pay Rs.80,000 as acceptance fees. This is non-refundable. For these courses, there are continuation fees of Rs. 25,000 for every 6 months of extension after the completion of 4 years. IIM Indore Cut Off

Admission to many of IIM Indore’s courses is based on the IIM Indore CAT Cut-Off score. Two types of cut-offs are released each year. They are the qualifying cut-off to shortlist candidates and the final cut-off or call cut-off. The final cut-off is always higher than the qualifying cut-off.
