The ISSF World Cup is an event conducted for Shooting Competition to give a homogeneous qualification system to the Olympic Shooting Competitions. ISSF WORLD CUP
- It is an event conducted for Shooting Competition to give a homogeneous qualification system to the Olympic Shooting Competitions.
- It was introduced in 1986 by International Shooting Sports Federation (ISSF).
- The Olympic Qualification system was introduced at the invitation of IOC (International Olympic Committee).
- The ISSF established a new series of world cups, included them in the Olympics qualifying system, and recognize scores fired in the world cups as World Records.
- Every year Five World Cup (world cup 1, world cup 2, world cup 3, world cup 4, world cup 5) will be held in different venues along with WORLD CUP FINAL
- In 2017, the world cup final for Rifle and Pistol is held at New Delhi and for Shotgun in UAE.

- In this edition lot of changes have been made in the categories and competition considering the 2020 Olympic games.
