JPSC State Service Exam Selection Process 2022

JPSC Exam 2022 is a highly competitive exam, and hence the candidate must know all about the process even before sketching out an efficient preparation plan.

JPSC Preliminary Exam 2022 (Prelims)

All eligible candidates shall be taking the JPSC Preliminary Exam 2022, which is stage one of the JPSC Selection Process. Applicants must meet the JPSC cut-off for the state service examination in the preliminary round to be qualified for the Mains exam. The JPSC Prelims cut-off will be released along with the Prelims results. The exam authorities shall decide the prelims cut off marks.

JPSC Mains Exam

The JPSC Mains Exam is the second stage of the JPSC Selection Process. Only the candidates who clear the Prelims shall be allowed to sit for this exam. Candidates who meet the cut off marks for the Mains shall move forward to the interview stage. This is an important stage of the selection process. It can make or break your chances of getting appointed for the applied post.

JPSC Interview 2022

Only Mains qualified candidates are invited to an interview by JPSC authorities. Applicants must carry all original certificates to their interview. All necessary documents are verified during the interview.

The JPSC interview is the final stage of the exam, and candidates who are called for it have a fair chance of being chosen. Interview boards have been developed carefully and particularly for this stage of selection. Following the JPSC Interview 2022, the main exam scores and the interview scores are combined to create a final merit list.

As a result, the final merit list is formed, with the last candidate's marks serving as the cut-off for all other candidates. The interviewers during this stage undertake a 100 mark personality test.
