    a. badly made or done. (Adjective)
    b. an inferior quality yarn or fabric made from the shredded fibre of waste woollen cloth or clippings. (Noun)
  • Synonyms: cheap, poor, shabby, inferior, trashy
  • Antonyms: fine, good, excellent, polished
  • Usage in a Sentence: They gave a shoddy performance.

3. Word: Malicious (दुर्भावनापूर्ण)

  • Pronunciation: muh-lish-uh s/मलिशस
  • Part of Speech: Adjective
  • Meaning:
    a. full of, characterized by, or showing malice; intentionally harmful; spiteful:
    b. Law. vicious, wanton, or mischievous in motivation or purpose.
  • Synonyms: spiteful, malevolent, vicious
  • Antonyms: kind, benevolent, kindhearted
  • Usage in a sentence: He complained that he'd been receiving malicious phone calls.

4. Word: Probe (जांच करना)

  • Pronunciation: prohb/ प्रोब
  • Part of Speech: Noun, Verb 
  • Meaning: 
    a. a thorough investigation into a crime or other matter. [Noun]
    b. explore or examine (something), especially with the hands or an instrument. [Verb]
  • Synonyms: scrutinize, inquiry
  • Antonyms: glimpse, absurd
  • Usage in a Sentence: I don't want to probe too deeply into your personal affairs.

5. Word: Seizure (गिरफ़्त)

  • Pronunciation: see-zher /सीश़र
  • Part of Speech: Noun
  • Meaning:
    a. a taking possession of an item, property, or person legally or by force.
    b. a sudden attack, as of epilepsy or some other disease.
  • Synonyms: capture, confiscation, arrest
  • Antonyms: release, liberation, discharge

6. Word: Purportedly (कथित रूप से)

  • Pronunciation: per-pawr-tid, -pohr-/ पर्पॉर्टिड्ली

  • Meaning: as appears or is stated to be true, though not necessarily so; allegedly
  • Synonyms: presumptively, seemingly, apparently, falsely
  • Antonyms: absolutely, genuinely, positively
  • Usage in a Sentence: This is purportedly the oldest tree in the world.

7. Word: Witch-hunt (संदिग्ध व्यक्तियों की खोज)

  • Pronunciation: wich-huhnt/विच हन्ट
  • Part of Speech: Noun
  • Meaning: a campaign directed against a person or group holding views considered unorthodox or a threat to society.
  • Synonyms: inquisitions, persecutions
  • Antonyms: forget, ignore, neglect
  • Use in Sentence: He led the witch-hunt against alleged communists in the 1950s.

8. Word: Extortion (धमकी देकर मांगना)

  • Pronunciation: ik-stawr-shuhn/इक्स्टॉर्शन
  • Part of Speech: Noun
  • Meaning
    a. an act or instance of extorting
    b. oppressive or illegal exaction, as of excessive price or interest
    c. the crime of obtaining money or some other thing of value by the abuse of one's office or authority

9. Word: Vindicate (समर्थन करना)

    b. show or prove to be right, reasonable, or justified.
  • Synonyms: justify, defend, assert, support

10. Word: Enforceable (लागू करने योग्य)

  • Pronunciation: en-fawrs-able/एन्फॉर्सबल
  • Part of Speech: Adjective
  • Meaning: (of a law, rule, or obligation) able to be imposed so that it must be complied with.
  • Synonyms: executable, feasible
  • Antonyms: deficient, ineffective
  • Use in a Sentence: It could become enforceable in a court of law.
