5. Word: Benchmark (मानदण्ड)

  • Pronunciation: bench-mahrk/ बेन्च्मार्क
  • Part of Speech: Noun, Verb
  • Meaning: 
    a standard or point of reference against which things may be compared. (Noun)
    evaluate (something) by comparison with a standard. (Verb)
  • Synonyms: standard, yardstick, baseline
  • Usage in a sentence: Her outstanding performances set a new benchmark for singers across the world.

6. Word: Augment (वृद्धि करना)

  • Pronunciation: awg-ment/ऑग्मेन्ट
  • Part of Speech: Verb
  • Meaning:
    a. to make larger; enlarge in size, number, strength, or extent; increase:

9. Word: Dodgy (कुटिल)

  • Pronunciation: doj-ee/डाजी
