  • Antonyms: glorious, good, lovely, magnificent

5. Word: Haul (बलपूर्वक खींचना)

  • Pronunciation: hawl/ हॉल
  • Part of Speech: Verb, Noun
  • Meaning:
    a. (of a person) pull or drag with effort or force. (Verb)
    b. (of a vehicle) pull (an attached trailer or carriage) behind it. (Verb)

8. Word: Throttle (गला घोंटना)

  • Pronunciation: throt-l/थ्राटल

  • Meaning
    a. to stop the breath of by compressing the throat; strangle (Verb)
    b. to choke or suffocate in any way (Verb)
    c. to compress by fastening something tightly around (Verb)
    d. to silence or check as if by choking (Verb)
    e. a lever, pedal, handle, etc., for controlling or manipulating a throttle (Noun)

9. Word: Abet (उकसाना)

  • Meaning:
    a. Encourage or assist (someone) to do something wrong

10. Word: Evade (बचना)

  • Pronunciation: ih-veyd/ इवेड
  • Part of Speech: Verb
  • Meaning: escape or avoid (someone or something), especially by guile or trickery.
  • Synonyms: avoid, escape, circumvent
  • Antonyms: accept, confront, take on
  • Usage in a Sentence: If you try to evade paying your taxes you risk going to prison.
