  • Antonyms: calm, peace, structure

3. Word: Stave off (निवारण करना)

  • Part of Speech: Verb
  • Meaning: to avert or hold off (something undesirable or harmful), esp temporarily
  • Synonyms: obviate, avoid
  • Antonyms: foster, take a look
  • Use in a Sentence: We were hoping to stave off these difficult decisions until January.

4. Word: Consortium (सहायता संघ)

  • Pronunciation: kuhn-sawr-shee-uh/ कन्सॉर्शीअम
  • Part of Speech
  • Meaning:
    a. a combination of financial institutions, capitalists, etc., for carrying into effect some financial operation requiring large resources of capital.
    b. any association, partnership, or union.
    c. Law. the legal right of partners in a marriage to companionship and conjugal intercourse with each other:
  • Synonyms: syndicate, association, federation
  • Antonyms: isolation, disunion, discord
  • Usage in a sentence: In a wrongful death action, the surviving spouse commonly seeks damages for loss of consortium.

5. Word: Dissipate (नष्ट करना)

  • Part of Speech: Verb
  • Meaning:  a. (with reference to a feeling or emotion) disappear or cause to disappear.
    b. waste or fritter away (money, energy, or resources).
  • Synonyms: squander, dissolve, vanish
  • Antonyms: gather, accumulate, improve
  • Usage in a Sentence: She wanted to dissipate her anger before making the next phone call.

6. Word: Erstwhile (भूतपूर्व)

  • Pronunciationerst·​while
  • Part of Speech: Adjective
  • Meaning: former.
  • Synonyms: Former, previous
  • Antonyms: current, future
  • Usage in a Sentence: She found herself ostracized by erstwhile friends.

7. Word: Lone (एकाकी)

  • Pronunciation: lohn/लोन
  • Part of Speech: Adjective
  • Meaning: 
    a. having no companions; solitary or single.
    b. (of a place) unfrequented and remote.
  • Synonyms: solitary, solo, unaccompanied
  • Antonyms: accompanied, social
  • Use in a Sentence: She was shot by a lone gunman.

8. Word: Speculation (अनुमान)

  • Pronunciation: spek-yuh-ley-shuh n/स्पेक्यलैशन
  • Part of Speech: Noun
  • Meaning: 
    a. a single instance or process of consideration.
    b. a conclusion or opinion reached by such contemplation
  • Synonyms: hypothesis, guess
  • Antonyms: fact, truth
  • Use in a Sentence: The company moved quickly to cancel the speculation that it is losing money.

9.  Word: Brush Aside (नज़रअंदाज़ करना)

  • Part of Speech: Phrasal Verb
  • Meaning: to refuse to accept that something is important or true
  • Pronunciation:  ब्रश असाइड
  • Synonyms: disregard, reject
  • Antonyms: taken into account, overview
  • Use in a Sentence: He brushed aside my objections to his plan.

10.  Word: Fanatical (कट्टर)

  • Part of Speech: fuh-nat-i-kuhl/फनैटिकल
  • Meaning: 
    a. filled with excessive and single-minded zeal.
    b. obsessively concerned with something.
  • Pronunciation:  
  • Synonyms: zealous, extremist, enthusiastic
  • Antonyms: impartial, lacking interest
  • Use in a Sentence: The man is fanatical about healthy eating.
