3.  Word: Disruptive (अशांतिकारक)

  • Pronunciation: dis-ruhp-tiv/डिस्रप्टिव
  • Part of Speech: Adjective
  • Meaning: causing or tending to cause disruption.
  • Synonyms: Disturbing, Distressful
  • Antonyms: Calming, Peaceful, Soothing  
  • Use in a Sentence: Ramesh's disruptive behaviour put intense pressure on his family.

  • Pronunciation: med-l/मेडल
  • Part of Speech: Verb
  • Meaning:  interfere in something that is not one's concern.
  • Synonyms: obtrude, hinder, interrupt

7.  Word: Sanctity (पवित्रता)

  • Pronunciation: sangk-ti-tee/सैंगक्टिटी
  • Part of Speech: Noun
  • Meaning: 
    a. the state or quality of being holy, sacred, or saintly.

        b. ultimate importance and inviolability.

  • Synonyms: sacredness, divinity
  • Antonyms: vileness, impureness
  • Use in a Sentence: Numerous miracles were proof of his sanctity.

  • Pronunciation: Im-ply
  • Part of Speech: Verb
  • Meaning: to hint at something without directly stating or presenting
  • Synonyms: suggest, hint, say indirectly.
  • Antonyms: describe, state, express
  • Use in a Sentence: When I said I would never wear a blue dress, I was not trying to imply blue was not a good color choice for you.

9. Word: Tussle (हाथापाई करना)

  • Pronunciation: tuhs-uhl/टसल
  • Part of Speech: Verb, Noun
  • Meaning:
    a. to struggle or fight roughly or vigorously; to wrestle (verb)
    b. a rough physical contest or struggle; scuffle (noun)
    c. any vigorous or determined struggle, conflict, etc. (noun)
  • Synonyms: struggle, fight, scuffle, brawl
  • Antonyms: agreement, consensus 
  • Usage in a sentence: The residents are still tussling over the ever-scarcer street parking.

10. Word: Persistent (अनवरत)

  • Pronunciation: per-sis-tuhnt/ पर्सिस्टन्ट
  • Part of Speech: Adjective
  • Meaning: continuing firmly or obstinately in an opinion or course of action in spite of difficulty or opposition.
  • Synonyms: firm, persevering, resolute, tenacious, determined, constant
  • Antonyms: inconstant, irresolute
  • Usage in a sentence: Albert had a persistent headache that lasted for three days.
