  • Meaning: the action of inflating something or the condition of being inflated.
  • Synonyms: boom, expansion

  • Use in a Sentence: The prime aim is to keep inflation down.

3.  Word: Accommodative (समझौतापरक)

  • Pronunciation: uh-kom-uh-dey-tiv/अकामडेटिव
  • Part of Speech: Adjective
  • Meaning: 
    a. used to describe a person or someone who is eager or willing to help other people, for example by changing his or her plans
  • Synonyms: cooperative, helpful, adaptive
  • Antonyms: unobliging
  • Usage in a sentence: She was understanding, patient, accommodative, and always had a solution to all problems.

4. Word: Galloping (सरपट,जल्दी से चलनेवाला)

  • Pronunciation: ga-lo-ping
  • Part of Speech: Adjective
  • Meaning: proceed at great speed.
  • Synonyms:  Fast, quick, rapid
  • Antonyms: Slow , sluggish, unhurried
  • Use in a Sentence: Japan is galloping ahead in the race to develop new technologies.

5. Word: Tame (अनुकूल बनाना)

  • Pronunciation: teym/टेम 
  • Part of Speech: Adjective, Verb
  • Meaning: 
    a. changed from the wild or savage state; domesticated (Adjective)
    b. without shyness, as if domesticated (Adjective)
    c. to deprive of courage, ardor, or zest (Verb)
  • Synonyms: subdue, docile, train
  • Antonyms: violent, fierce, savage
  • Usage in a sentence: After a few months' contact the monkeys become very tame.

6. Word: Herculean (विशाल)

  • Pronunciation: hur-kyuh-lee-uh n/हर्क्यूलीअन
  • Part of Speech: Adjective
  • Meaning: requiring great strength or effort.
  • Synonyms: collosal, gigantic
  • Antonyms: tiny, easy
  • Usage in a Sentence: The man completed the herculean task of transferring the bulky files from the office to the storage.

7.  Word: Slew (अनेकता)

  • Part of Speech: Noun
  • Meaning:
    a. (often followed by `of') a large number or amount or extent
  • Synonyms: heap, stack, plenty

  • Pronunciation: vol-uh-tl-ity/वालटिलिटी
  • Part of Speech: Noun
  • Meaning: liability to change rapidly and unpredictably, especially for the worse.
  • Synonyms: impulsiveness, inconstancy
  • Antonyms: permanence, stability
  • Use in a Sentence: The volatility of the underlying agreement fell to an annual rate of 9 percent.

9. Word: Augury (शकुनविचार)

  • Pronunciation: aw-gyuh-ree/ ऑग्यरी
  • Part of Speech: Noun
  • Meaning:
    a. an event that is experienced as indicating important/ good things to come
  • Synonyms: portent, prophecy, prediction
  • Antonyms: ill-omen, bad indications
  • Usage in a sentence: He hoped it was an augury that he reached his home but it was not so. 

10. Word: Cautionary (चेतावनीपूर्ण)

  • Pronunciation: kaw-shuh-ner-ee/कॉशनेरी
  • Part of Speech: Adjective
  • Meaning: serving as a warning.
  • Synonyms: preventive, ominous
  • Antonyms: persuasive, unprotective
  • Use in a Sentence: His experiences provide a cautionary story for us all.
