  • Meaning:
    a. to overspread with or as with a liquid, color, etc.

  • Synonyms: talk, lecture, speech, discussion

6. Word: Predicate (निश्चयपूर्वक कहना)

  • Pronunciationpred-i-keyt
  • Part of Speech: Noun, Verb
  • Meaning
    a. something which is affirmed or denied concerning an argument of a proposition. (Noun)
    b. declare or affirm (something) as true or existing; postulate or assert. (Verb)
    c. found or base something on. (Verb)
  • Synonyms: affirm, assert, declare, proclaim, profess
  • Usage in a Sentence: She has predicated her theory on recent findings by other astronomers.

7. Word: Definitive (निर्णायक)

  • Pronunciation: dih-fin-i-tiv/ डिफिनिटिव
  • Part of Speech: Adjective
  • Meaning
    a. (of a conclusion or agreement) done or reached decisively and with authority.
    b. (of a book or other text) the most authoritative of its kind.
  • Synonyms: conclusive, final, ultimate; decisive, unconditional,
  • Antonyms: doubtful, inconclusive, ambiguous
  • Usage in a Sentence: The definitive version of the text is ready to be published.

8. Word: Phenomenon (घटना)

  • Pronunciation: phe-nom-e-non/निटी ग्रिटी
  • Part of Speech: Noun
  • Meaning: a person or thing that is often awe-inspiring because of its unique quality
  • Synonyms: wonder, genius, marvel
  • Antonyms: Normal, common, simple
  • Use in a Sentence: The four-year-old boy was considered a phenomenon because he could play the piano like a master pianist.

9. Word:  Linguistic (भाषा संबंधी)

  • Pronunciation: ling-gwis-tik/लिंगग्विस्टिक
  • Part of Speech: Adjective
  • Meaning:
    a. connected with language or the study of language.
  • Synonyms: language, rhetoric, the spoken word, philology
  • Antonyms: non linguistic, non verbal
  • Usage in a sentence: There are many linguistic affinities between the numerous Indo-Aryan languages.

10Word: Bode (शकुन होना)

  • Pronunciation: bohd/बोड
  • Part of Speech: Verb
  • Meaning
    a. to portend
    b. to be a sign of something that will happen in the future, usually something very good or bad
  • Synonyms: portend, foreshadow, augur, predict, foretell, forecast, presage
  • Usage in a sentence: This does not bode well for the future of the peace process.
