AFCAT CE Notification

Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) has released AFCAT 2018 official notification for the posts of Flying, Ground Duty (Tech) and Ground Duty (Non-tech). Interested candidates may apply online from 16th June 2018 to 15th July 2018.

AFCAT CE Exam Dates

As per the official notification disclosed by the Indian Air Force, below are the important dates for AFCAT CE 2018 examination:

Candidates Eligible and are interested in applying for the following AFCAT 2018 Exam can apply through online mode by 15th July 2018.

AFCAT CE Eligibility Criteria


Age Limit

Educational Qualification

Flying Branch

Minimum 20 years, Maximum 24 years.

Minimum of 60% marks each in Maths & Physics at 10+2 level.

2. Graduates (Three Year Course) in any discipline from a recognized University who have attained minimum 60% marks or equivalent OR BE/B Tech (Four Year Course) from a recognized university or equivalent.

Ground Duty Branches (Non-Technical)

Minimum 20 years, Maximum 26 years.

Graduate Degree (Minimum three-year degree course) in any discipline from a recognized university with 60% marks.

Ground Duty Branches (Technical)

Minimum 20 years, Maximum 26 years.

Candidates with minimum 60% marks each in Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level and a minimum of four-year degree graduation/integrated post- graduation qualification in Engineering/ Technology from recognized University.

AFCAT CE Syllabus & Exam Pattern

1. AFCAT CE Exam Pattern consists of 100 questions each carrying 3 marks for every correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.

2. The duration of AFCAT Civil Engineering exam is of two hours and will contain multiple-choice questions on various topics on reasoning general awareness, verbal ability, military aptitude and numerical ability as per the AFCAT syllabus.
