1. Post Doctoral Job:

Landing a post-doctoral role is perhaps the maximum conventional step in academia. Post-doctoral contracts have various lengths (among 1-12 months and four years, typically). Each year, universities create an ad hoc panel for a request that is sent to a university that is trying to recruit. Interviews in these universities are carried out by the Selection Committee. All ad hoc teachers are paid at the same level as the permanent teacher of the advantage that comes around RS. 80,000 per month. This amount is not affected by annual increments.  They are appointed for a period of 120 days at a time, with various terms and conditions specified for leaves, placement and promotion. With PhD, UGC NET remains the minimum eligibility. 

4. Industries related to your Specialisation: 

Joining a employer to your discipline of specialization (in my case, that could be some thing from a bridge layout employer to a massive contractor) is an option. • Keep the tracks of the vacancies as some of them invite PhD candidates directly to the interviews. As a Phd candidate you will also get extra credit in overall evaluation for final merit.
