It is a three-tier recruitment process, the candidates must perform exceptionally well in all the stages of the selection process to be able to land the aspired job and desired job profile. NIACL AO mains exam pattern has been facilitated here to assist the candidates in getting detailed knowledge about the exam and devising unique strategies to craft the preparatory module. NIACL AO main examination will consist of Objective type questions for 200 marks and a Descriptive Test for 30 marks. Both the Objective and Descriptive Tests will be conducted in an online mode. The descriptive test will be conducted immediately after completion of the Objective Test.

Note: Each candidate will be required to obtain a minimum score for each section of the objective test separately for shortlisting for the Descriptive test evaluation and also shortlisting for the Interview.

• The Descriptive Test of 30 minutes duration with 30 marks will be a test of English Language
• Letter Writing is of 10 marks & Essay will be of 20 marks).
• The descriptive test will be in English and will be conducted online mode.
• Candidates will have to answer the Descriptive Test by typing on the computer.

Note: 

• Descriptive answer script would be evaluated only in respect of those candidates who qualify for the objective test. Depending on the number of vacancies available, cut-offs will be decided for Descriptive paper evaluation.
• A candidate shall be required to qualify in the descriptive test, but the marks in the descriptive test will not be counted towards shortlisting for an interview or final selection.
