J&K Bank Syllabus 2020: Jammu and Kashmir bank has released the official notification for the recruitment of Probationary Officer, Specialist Officer and Banking Associate (Clerk) and a total of 1876 vacancies have been announced. J&K Bank Selection Process 2020

J&K Bank follows a very clear and unbiased J&K Bank Selection Process 2020 for filling up the declared vacancies. Earlier, in July 2020, J&K Bank advertised a total of 1850 vacancies for Probationary Officers (350) and Banking Associates (1500). The selection process differs for the different categories of posts. For Probationary Officers, it is a three-step process. The first two phases are namely J&K Bank Prelims Exams and J&K Bank Mains Exams conducted through the online mode. The third and the last Phase involves an interview conducted face to face. For Banking Associates, the process is a single step, and that is an online test of 1-hour duration. In Phase 1 of the J&K Bank Selection Process 2020, there are three tests of 20 minutes each and different maximum marks in phase 1 online exam. You are supposed to secure a minimum score or cut-off marks in each test of online examination to qualify for the exam and move further to Phase 2. The Phase 2 exam will comprise of 5 sections. The Phase 2 Exam is for a total duration of 3 hours and 30 minutes. If you qualify the Phase 2 examination, you will be called for Phase 3 that involves a face to face interview round. For final selection, the marks obtained in Phase 2 Exam and Interview will be considered together. 

Document Verification Before The Commencement of Phase 3 Interview

You will be needed to get all the documents verified related to you at the time of Interview. The documents required are the call letter along with a photocopy of the candidate’s photo identity (having the same name as it appears on the call letter). Only after document verification will the Phase 3 Interview commence. 

J&K Bank Exam Pattern 2020

The J&K Bank will conduct the J&K Bank Exam for selection of Banking Associates and Probationary Officers following a specific J&K Bank Exam Pattern 2020. The pattern for this exam is different for Probationary officers and Banking Associates.  This year Jammu & Kashmir Bank has advertised a total of 1876 posts. Although the dates of exams are not declared yet, the procedure of application submission is over now. If you are going to take the exam, you must gear up for preparation. J&K Bank Exam Pattern 2020 for Probationary Officers (PO)

J&K Bank will organise the exam in online mode at the prescribed centres in three phases. Phase 1 is called the J&K Preliminary Exam 2020, Phase 2 is called the J&K Main Exam, and the last Phase, Phase 3 is an interview round.

You are required to qualify each stage to become eligible for the next stage. Once you are selected after the interview round, you will be given the appointment letter for joining.

The total marks allotted for J&K Bank interview are 100 with a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. You must score at least 40% marks to qualify for the interview (35% for SC/ST, educationally and socially backward classes and PCP applicants). The weightage ratio of online J&K Bank Phase 2 Exam 2020 to that of the interview will be 80:20.

J&K Bank Syllabus FAQs

  • The final score of contestants is the combined scores obtained in the phase 2 exam and interview. However, qualifying separately in each of the two exams is mandatory.

  • The bank will analyse the recorded responses of all participated candidates for the online examination, to detect the abnormal similarity of responses.

  • J&K Bank authorities will consider marks obtained in the online mains (Phase 2) examination for shortlisting candidates for interview procedure and final merit listing.

  • J&K Bank may modify the structure of the examination and notify the details through its official website.

  • If a question is not answered by the candidate, i.e. left blank on the answer sheet, there will be no penalty for that question.

  • J&K Bank will interview for final selection at selected centres. The dates and centres would be announced later, and all the details will be mentioned in the call letter.

  • Voter’s Card/Bank Passbook with photograph/PAN Card/ Passport/ Permanent Driving Licence/ Aadhaar card/ E-Aadhaar card with a photograph/valid recent Identity Card issued by a recognised college/university/ Employee ID can be used for verification during J&K Bank Selection Process 2020.

  • You need to obtain a minimum score in each of the five tests of Phase 2 online examination of J&K Bank Selection Process 2020 and also a minimum total score to be selected for the Interview round.
