WBSET Exam Pattern: Check latest exam pattern

West Bengal State Eligibility Test (WBSET 2021): West Bengal College Service Commission has released the notification for WBSET 2021 exam. The applications will begin from 16th August and will be ending on 15th September 2021. The agency has announced that the  WBSET 2021 Exam date is 9th January 2022. West Bengal College Service Commission conducts WBSET in 33 subjects and it is an OMR based examination.

WBSET 2021 Exam forms are out. The application started on August 16th and will end on 16th September 2021. WBSET is being held for 33 subjects. 

  • WB SET 2021 will have two papers. Paper 1 will be common for all applicants.
  • Paper 1 has two parts - Part A is General Knowledge and Part B Aptitude in Teaching.
  • Paper 2 is based on the post-graduation subject of the candidate.
  • The questions will be of Objective type i.e. MCQs. 

WBSET 2021 Paper Pattern 

The WBSET Exam Pattern is provided below. Please go through the pattern once. The WBSET examination will be conducted on 9th January 2022.

  • This will be an offline examination i.e. OMR based exam. 
  • The questions will be of 2 marks each and there will be no negative marking. 
  • Paper 1 consists of questions based on research aptitude, reasoning, comprehension and general awareness. Paper 2 will be subject-specific.

  • Paper-1 consist of 50 questions, each question is of 2 marks and Paper-2 consist of 100 questions, each question is of 2 marks. There is no negative marking.

  • Paper-1 is of 1 hour and Paper 2 is two hours. There is a gap of half-hour in paper-1 and paper-2.

  • West Bengal  SET will be conducted in offline mode i.e. OMR based.
