- Primary occupation: It includes the occupations that deal with producing goods, crops, or raw materials like quarrying, mining, fishing, forestry, animal husbandry, agriculture, etc.
- Secondary occupation: The secondary occupation is the category that deals with secondary activities like construction work, building, and the manufacturing industry.
- Tertiary occupation: The tertiary sector deals with occupations around administration, commerce, communications, transportation, etc.
