Conservation of resources is defined as the practice of preserving natural resources to ensure the continuity of life.
Reasons why the Conservation of Resources is Necessary
There are two reasons why the conservation of resources is necessary:
- Resources are non-renewable, so if we do not use them efficiently, our future generations will not be able to use them.
- Such resources are necessary for the ecological balance and survival of the organisms.
Furthermore, the conservation of resources can also help reduce wastage and encourage economic progress. For instance, the exhaustion and deterioration of fossil fuels can impact the manufacturing units that affect our daily lives. Therefore, conserving resources is a necessary practice and a responsibility of the current generations.
