The Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology (IITM) continues to use it to research and forecast weather patterns.   • Another name of the supercomputer of India is PARAM-Siddhi, which ranks 63rd on the same list.
  • PARAM-Siddhi is the fastest Indian supercomputer to date, kept in the headquarters of the Center for Development of Advanced Computers in Pune.

Prathyush and Mihir, which cost INR 438.9 Crore in total and have a top speed of 6.8 PetaFlops, are the fastest supercomputers in India as of January 2018. On January 8, 2018, Dr. Harsh Vardhan, the Union Minister for Science and Technology, launched the system. The rising sun is described by the word “Pratyush.”
