Objective of Environmental Education
The environment is being negatively impacted by the widespread exploitation of nature by humans. The use of fossil fuels, logging, mining, and other environmental issues are the main issues. Therefore, environmental education is necessary to raise public awareness of the need to protect the environment.
The following are the objectives of environmental education:
- To spread awareness of the reasons behind environmental degradation and suggest methods to reduce the activities that are harming the environment.
- To develop the attitude to take steps for environmental protection. There should be a sense of responsibility among the population to protect the environment.
