It is an inorganic molecule and is highly reactive in nature.

Ozone is found in the stratosphere. It has many industrial and consumer applications related to oxidation as it is a powerful oxidant. The ozone layer above the planet shields us from harsh ultraviolet rays. But the ozone layer is currently developing a hole in its surface as a result of man-made pollution and other harmful activities. UV rays are exposed as a result, which can cause fatal diseases like skin cancer.

As a result of this hole in the ozone layer, we are now exposed to the harmful UV rays of the sun.
