Anirudh Yadav, a resident of Chanakyapuri, claimed that apart from encouraging him to take the exam, his family, especially his brother, helped him at every step of UPSC preparation. He got into Indian Railway Personnel Service (IRPS) after cracking UPSC on his first attempt.
After that, he got the Indian Information Service (IIS) when he passed the exam for the second time. Now he has become an IAS by securing 8th rank in the fourth attempt. Anirudh’s favorite sports include football and squash.

Anirudh Yadav completed his early education in Delhi after which he obtained an engineering degree from IIT Delhi. After this, at the behest of his brother, he started preparing for the Civil Services Examination. Even after not getting his desired position in three attempts, he did not lose courage and in the fourth attempt, he made it to the top 10 by securing 8th rank.

Aniruddh Yadav Educational Background
Anirudh completed his primary and secondary education at Sanskriti School in Delhi. He then went on to study BTech and MTech at IIT Delhi. He holds degrees in Biochemical Engineering and Biotechnology. When his elder brother Aditya Vikram secured 72nd rank in UPSC in 2017, he advised his younger brother to pursue a career as an IAS. Aditya Vikram is currently an IAS officer. While the father is an IPS officer, both of them contributed significantly to the preparation.
