Indira Gandhi	(1917–1984)	24 January 1966 to 24 March 1977 11 years, 59 days	First lady Prime Minister of India She was named the Women of the Millennium and is the first lady to receive Bharat Ratna.
Morarji Desai	(1896–1995)	24 March 1977 – 28 July 1979 2 year, 116 days	He was the Oldest to become PM at 81 and first PM who resigned without completing his office tenure. Also, he formally ended the state of emergency imposed by Indira Gandhi. Moreover, he is the only Indian Prime Minister who got Nishaan-e-Pakistan (Pakistan’s highest civilian award)
