Tips To Prepare For IBPS PO Interview 2019-2020

Although the interview round is not going to be easy, many students have been preparing for years and are experienced enough to be your competitor. Let us discuss the most critical things aspirants must keep in mind to sail through the last round.

  • The way you enter the hall, including your way of walking, talking, speaking, and how you greet them with a smile.
  • Be professional and confident in your behaviour. Ask the panel members before you sit. 
  • Your dressing sense matters the most. Do not opt for party wear dresses that are very glittery. Be simple and choose fine colours that suit your personality. If you are a girl, do not apply too much makeup. Be very simple and charming.
  • If you are unable to recall the answer to any question, do not deliver a wrong answer or do not pretend to recall the things. If you don't know, say sorry sir I am unable to recall now, or I don't know the answer.
  • Try to make eye contact with every member present at the panel. Do not smile too much or do not be so serious.
  • Sit straight. Don't be so rigid or flexible.
  • Do not look here or there at the time of the interview. Try to talk with the members.
  • Do not give diplomatic answers. Pay attention to what they are asking and provide a brief answer to that.
  • You must be familiar with your educational background. They may ask anything from your education or family background.
  • Be presentable. You should know everything about yourself. If they ask you something about you, brief it with confidence.

Most Important questions for IBPS PO interview Round

Question- Give a brief intro about yourself?

Answer- Do not give a crammed answer from google. Answering is the art of presenting your words to the person.

Question- Questions on your family background

Answer- Do not tell them the history. Be very specific and give a short answer.

Question- They may ask you about your educational background.

Answer- Explain it well, why you choose this stream(science, art, commerce, etc.). What was your motto behind choosing the same?

Question- About your professional experiences (If any)

Answer- You should know each and everything that you have done in the past. If you are a fresher, say, Sir, I am a fresher.

Question- Why banking? This is the most common answer that may be thrown at you.

Answer- Do not just say I have an interest in banking as it may result in cross-questions related to banking terms. Prepare a good response for the same, especially those who are from the science stream.

Question- Union budget is going to be presented on 1st Feb. they may ask you questions on the budget.

Answer- All the aspirants must know the essential highlights of the budget as it is the most trending topic in the economy for now.

Questions- What are your future plans?

Answer- Give a brief answer to it. Explain your career plans only. Don't be personal.

Question-Why should we hire you?

Answer- Again, the most common question that can be asked. Explain your strengths and how they will be beneficial for the organization. Prepare a smart reply.

Apart from the common questions discussed above, students must know about the current topics, what is happening around in the economy, govt. Schemes, RBI functions, and regulatory schemes, etc. remember you are not that far to bag the job. You have to earn it with your knowledge and capability, and that is what an interviewer wants in you.
